Inside The Leeds House: The Jersey Devil's Home
Straight from the Official New Jersey Website:
New Jersey Devil
On a dark and stormy night in 1735, something terrible happened in the Pine Barrens near Leeds Point. The thunder howled, and the wind roared outside. Inside a small house, Mother Leeds was giving birth to her 13th baby. No one knew for sure exactly what happened, but people had lots of ideas.
"Mother Leeds said she wanted the baby to be the devil!"
"The baby was born with a tail, wings, and hooves and flew up the chimney!"
"The baby looked normal but then it changed!"
That night, the Jersey Devil was born.
This is one of the most popular stories about how the Devil was born, but there are many others. A different story says that a town put a curse on a young girl who fell in love with a British soldier during the Revolutionary War. When she gave birth, it was to the Jersey Devil. Another story says a gypsy cursed a girl because she didn't give the gypsy food. The curse caused her to give birth to the Jersey Devil.
Locals in the Pine Barrens call it the Leeds Devil. They say it has a horse's head, long legs with hooves, two short front legs, and a bat's wings. No one knows how tall it is. Some people think it's six feet tall, others think it's only three or four feet tall. The Devil has glowing red eyes and makes loud screeching sounds. It's very ugly, and people are terrified after seeing it. During the day the Devil lives in the wetlands. At night it comes out to scare anyone it meets.

The Jersey Devil: EXCLUSIVE JERSEY DEVIL EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT
EXCLUSIVE JERSEY DEVIL EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT
As the Executive Producer of "The Legend Lives: The True Story Of The Jersey Devil", I'm thrilled to share with you a chilling eyewitness account from Hunter Fisher, who claims to have seen the infamous creature in his own backyard!
"I saw him in my back yard when I was 16. My friend and I heard what was sounding like a woman screaming about 130-2 am so we went out to see what it was then it was like geese fighting. So we walked out back in the field by the wood line and it smelled like a septic tank that was over flowing as the breeze blew. I heard something come towards me, my friend had took off back towards the house. I stood there and took my flashlight from the ground to see if I saw anything. Something was coming towards me. I went from the ground up about 6ft and saw eyes and I started to run. The same night the neighbors goat got killed, no evidence of a normal predator that killed it. There were also reports from a cop that said they seen him as well. I lived in Pemberton at the time off magnolia Rd."
But that's not all! Hunter also shared with us the local legend surrounding the Jersey Devil, passed down through generations of Pineys:
"These old Pineys used to tell me that he was born on the 6th day, 6 month, 6 year to Mrs. Leeds and every hour for 6 hours. He got a different part to his body. He was the 13th child and she cursed him and he sleeps for 7 years and is awake for 7 years. He don't like fire. Don't like dogs and don't like more than three people together. He's made people disappear to never be seen again. He travels the pines if you're caught alone and he's hunting you may disappear to. His screeches like no other heard and smells really bad. It's been said if you put a rose on Mrs Leeds grave at midnight it will turn black."
We're on the hunt for more eyewitness accounts and stories about the Jersey Devil! If you have a tale to tell, send it to Email: Jason Brazeal Executive Producer make sure to add "Jersey Devil" in the subject line, and we might feature it on our page! JERSEY DEVIL SPOTTED IN GALLOWAY: Local Resident Claims to Have Seen Mythical Creature Soaring Over Pine Barrens
Into the Heart of Darkness: The Jersey Devil's Haunting Legacy
A shocking sighting has left residents of Galloway, New Jersey, buzzing with excitement and fear. Local resident Dave Black claims to have spotted the infamous Jersey Devil, a mythical creature said to roam the Pine Barrens. According to Black, the creature was seen flying overhead, its dark brown fur and cloven feet a stark reminder of the legend's enduring power. With its wings spread wide, the creature seemed to be surveying its surroundings before disappearing into the night. While some have dismissed the sighting as a hoax, others are convinced that the Jersey Devil is real and that Black's photo evidence is proof of its existence. As the debate rages on, one thing is certain: the legend of the Jersey Devil lives on, and its allure continues to captivate the imagination of people everywhere.
Good evening, I'm reporting live from Galloway, New Jersey, where a new film production is seeking investors to bring the legend of the Jersey Devil to life on the big screen. The film, titled "The Legend Lives: The True Story Of The Jersey Devil", is being produced by Albright Films, and is set to explore the rich history and folklore surrounding the mythical creature.
As part of the film's production, Executive Producer Jason Brazeal is seeking investors who are not only interested in the cinematic potential of the story but also in securing the future and safety of New Jersey's Pine Barrens, where the Jersey Devil is said to roam. According to Brazeal, the film will not only delve into the legend of the creature but also explore the impact it has had on the local community and the efforts to protect the Pine Barrens from its alleged presence.
In a unique twist, Brazeal is also seeking reports of Jersey Devil sightings from the public. He is encouraging anyone who has had a personal encounter with the creature to come forward and share their story, regardless of whether they are willing to be identified publicly. For those who are afraid of ridicule or other forms of backlash, Brazeal is offering a promise of anonymity, and an anonymous report form will be available on the film's website, for witnesses to share their experiences. In the time being he can be contacted directly with reports that will be made anonymous per the submitters request. He can be contacted via: jbrazealdfw@gmail.com
Brazeal believes that by gathering more information and evidence about the Jersey Devil, the film can help to shed light on the legend and potentially even help to protect the Pine Barrens from any potential threats. He is confident that the film will not only be a thrilling and entertaining experience for audiences but also a valuable contribution to the understanding and preservation of New Jersey's rich cultural heritage.
If you're interested in learning more about the film and how you can get involved, I encourage you to visit the website and reach out to Jason Brazeal directly. Who knows, you may even have a personal connection to the legend of the Jersey Devil and be able to share your own story with the world.
That's all for now. Thanks, and we'll see you again soon.

BREAKING NEWS! Wave of Terror washes over New Jersey!
BREAKING NEWS!
Reports are just coming in.......
THE CAMDEN POST TELEGRAM
JERSEY DEVIL SIGHTINGS SPREAD PANIC ACROSS THE STATE
Camden, NJ - January 20th, 1909
A wave of terror has swept across the state as reports of the legendary Jersey Devil have flooded in from all corners of New Jersey. The creature, described as a kangaroo-like beast with wings and a goat's head, has been spotted by hundreds of people, leaving a trail of fear and uncertainty in its wake.
According to eyewitnesses, the creature has been seen attacking a social club in Camden, a trolley car in Haddon Heights, and has even been reported to have flown over the city of Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Zoo has offered a $10,000 reward for anyone who can provide proof of the creature's existence.
"I was walking home from work when I saw it," said Mrs. Emma Johnson, a local resident. "It was huge and had these glowing eyes. I ran as fast as I could and didn't stop until I was safe inside my house."
The Camden Police Department has confirmed that they have received multiple reports of the creature's attacks and have deployed extra officers to patrol the streets and keep the peace.
"We're doing everything we can to catch this creature and put an end to the terror it's causing," said Chief of Police, James O'Connor. "We urge everyone to remain calm and to report any further sightings to the authorities immediately."
Schools have been closed and many businesses have shut down in an effort to avoid the creature. Vigilantes have even formed to hunt down the creature, armed with torches and pitchforks.
"I'm not going to let this thing terrorize our community," said one of the vigilantes. "We'll find it and we'll make sure it pays for what it's done."
As the search for the Jersey Devil continues, many are left wondering: is this creature real, or is it just a product of mass hysteria? Only time will tell.
